2008, May Introduce Online Freight Charges
This web enhancement allows our customers to view their freight charges 24 hours a day/7 days a week.

2008, MayFORT Upgrades Transportation Software
FORT upgrades to the latest version of its transportation software, TruckMate 8.0. Enhanced features will allow us to continue and serve our customers in the most efficient and user friendly manner.

2008, Spring100% Lift Gate Coverage
FORT added another lift gate trailer to its fleet providing 100% lift gate coverage in its Direct Coverage Area.

2008 FORT delivers 80 Years of Quality Transportation Services – 1928 – 2008
FORT will observe its 80th anniversary during 2008. Our customer’s support and the dedication of our loyal employees have made this possible. The years may continue to pass but not our dedication to providing quality transportation services remains just as strong.

2007

2007, Summer – 4th generation family member joins the FORT TEAM
Marnie Leslie joins the FORT TEAM overseeing our customer service team. Marnie has over 10 years of transportation experience.

Spring/Summer of 2007Introduction of Online Pick-up Requests
This new feature will allow our customers to schedule pick-ups 24 hours a day, 7 days a week via the web.

Winter/Spring of 2007 New Invoicing Capabilities
New capabilities will allow our customers the ability to receive their freight invoices via fax or e-mail.

Winter/Spring of 2007Introduce document imaging capabilities to the web
This web enhancement will allow our customers to retrieve copies of bill of lading, freight invoices and proof of deliveries (PODs).

2006

2006, Fall FORT implemented document imaging to our Transportation Software
This new capability will allow FORT to interact more efficiently with our customers.

2006, Summer FORT introduced EDI 210 to our customers
This new capability allows us to exchanged data electronically with our customers.

2006, SummerFORT improves its Northwestern Wisconsin service
FORT opens a terminal in Superior, WI to improve service to Northwestern Wisconsin and Eastern Minnesota.

2006, SummerFORT expanded its DIRECT DAILY service to Minnesota and the Fargo, ND area
FORT opened terminals in Superior, WI, St. Cloud, MN and Fargo, ND to improve its service to Minnesota.

2006, January4th generation FORT family member acquires operating interest
Ryan Leslie has now assumed additional operating responsibility and has been name Vice President.

2006, JanuaryLong-time FORT employee/family member retires
Hank Leslie retired as of January 1, 2006 after 40 plus years of service.

2005, SpringFORT enhances its web features
These features include enhanced tracing and rate quote capabilities.

2004

2004, Fall - FORT invests in new technology
FORT increased its customer service capabilities by purchasing new Transportation Software (TMW Maddocks Systems). These new tools allow FORT to better serve our customers.

2003

2003FORT Delivers 75 Years of Quality Transportation Services – 1928 to 2003
FORT will observe its 75th anniversary during 2003. Our customer’s support and the dedication of our loyal employees have made this possible. The years may pass but not our dedication to providing quality transportation services remains strong. We thank everyone and look forward to many more years of service for you.

2002

2002, SummerFORT Adds New Service Center in LaCrosse, Wisconsin
FORT establishes a new service center in LaCrosse to expand our service areas. The new center improves transit times to Western Wisconsin, Eastern Minnesota and Eastern Iowa.

2002, SpringFORT Delivers Peace of Mind
FORT invests in new technology to ensure our customers’ shipments arrive on time – every time. We installed in-cab fleet information systems in our trucks employing satellite technology (GPS). PeopleNet Communications Corporation supports this technology. With this system, we can pinpoint your shipments location within blocks of our assigned destination. Our dispatch team regularly monitors our trucks to ensure on time service.

2002

2002, SpringFORT Develops Internet-Based Customer Service Tools
FORT launches internet tools for (a) pickup requests, (b) shipment tracing, (c) rate quotes, (d) freight claims handling and (e) customer inquiries

2001

2001, FallFORT Builds Web-site for Customer Service
FORT establishes Internet domain name, www.shipwithfort.com. We continue to use new technology to improve our efficiencies and make assess to us easier for customers.
