This web enhancement allows our customers to view their freight charges 24 hours a day/7 days a week.
2008, May – FORT Upgrades Transportation Software
FORT upgrades to the latest version of its transportation software, TruckMate 8.0. Enhanced features will allow us to continue and serve our customers in the most efficient and user friendly manner.
2008, Spring – 100% Lift Gate Coverage
FORT added another lift gate trailer to its fleet providing 100% lift gate coverage in its Direct Coverage Area.
2008 – FORT delivers 80 Years of Quality Transportation Services – 1928 – 2008
FORT will observe its 80th anniversary during 2008. Our customer’s support and the dedication of our loyal employees have made this possible. The years may continue to pass but not our dedication to providing quality transportation services remains just as strong.

Center in LaCrosse, Wisconsin
FORT establishes a new service center
in LaCrosse to expand our service
areas. The
new center improves transit times
to Western Wisconsin, Eastern Minnesota
and Eastern
Iowa.

Peace of Mind
FORT invests in new technology
to ensure our customers’ shipments arrive on
time – every time. We installed in-cab
fleet information systems in our trucks employing
satellite technology (GPS). PeopleNet Communications
Corporation supports this technology. With
this system, we can pinpoint your shipments
location within blocks of our assigned destination.
Our dispatch team regularly monitors our
trucks to ensure on time service.
