To make a long story short, our costs are down and our delivery reliability is up. We have not filed a single damage claim to date. FORT has done a great job of making pickups and deliveries on our time table. They have also helped us manage our administrative cost by arriving on time for scheduled pickups. Their drivers are always helpful with a tough delivery or shipment and are well liked by all customers and our personnel. Through their extensive network, we are able to arrange transportation to virtually all of our customers with just one call a day. Their website and customer service people make it possible for our billing department to access pricing and shipment information the day of the shipment quickly and accurately. That has been a real benefit in helping us improve our receivables turnover. Our relationship with FORT has been a benefit to us and our customers since day one. When FORT’S Sales Representative called on Managed Packaging, we knew that the level of service for our transportation needs were about to go up. In 2008, Fort Transportation and Larson Company began a partnership as I made a decision to switch carriers. In my twenty—five years of experience in distribution and logistics, I don’t recall a more seamless, smooth and enjoyable transition between carrier and shipper.
